Nestling in the heart of Sweetwater County, Dr. Haque opened her periodontal practice, Rock Springs Periodontics, in June 2016. Five years later, in 2021, she feels very fortunate for the opportunity to continue providing care to Sweetwater County, Fremont County, and Natrona County. We are excited about the new changes that are currently happening in our office. First and foremost, we are changing the name of our practice to WY Implants and Surgical Arts. Secondly, we are offering our patients new services, such as office IV sedation, wisdom teeth extraction, and L-PRF growth factors to promote healing and Smile in a day.
We are fortunate that we are able to continue to grow and offer state-of-the-art care to our patients.
Dr. Haque comes from a very unique educational background. With a Biology degree from Juniata College, she pursued her dental hygiene certificate from the University of Pittsburgh. During her time at the Dental Hygiene School, she discovered her passion for being a dentist. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery DDS from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH, in 2005. You will often hear her joking that Cleveland holds a special place in her heart, as she got her degree and found her husband there!
After completing dental school, Dr. Haque completed a 2-year general practice residency at Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT. During the first year of her residency, she received the honor of Resident of the Year in 2006. She also served as chief resident during the second year of her residency and was responsible for training 6 first-year residents. In 2007, she moved to Detroit, MI, to complete her three years of training in Periodontics. Over the past 11 years, she has worked full-time Periodontist in Texas, Utah, Colorado, and WY.
Dr. Haque is Board-certified and recognized as a Diplomate by the American Board of Periodontology. She is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the International Congress of Oral Implatologist.
Dr. Haque initially came to Wyoming in 2016 and has fallen in love with our cowboy state! She loves nature and open spaces and is mesmerized by the majestic mountains and breathtaking views of WY. There is never a dull moment in her life as she balances being a wife, a mother of three beautiful children, and her professional career.
Dr. Haque continues to be an integral part of our community and welcomes you into her dental home, WY Implants and Surgical Arts.
